Budget 2021 \u2013 2022, the Economic Development Board (EDB) was entrusted with the responsibility of setting up a Digital industries Academy (DIA).<\/p><p>DIA is an industry training platform set up from a public-private partnership to address the problem of shortage of skills in the ICT sector and create a national pool of talent.<\/p><p>As at July 2024, the scheme has been amended to include a refund program specifically designed for employers looking to recruit new employees in the ICT\/BPO industry.<\/p><p>The objective is to enhance the quality of training, provide better support, align training programs with evolving technological demands and above all ensure employability of trainees.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
