Education is the key to a child’s future, especially for girls living in poverty. From learning the skills they need to earn money, to gaining the knowledge to protect themselves from disease or exploitation – an education gives them the power to make decisions about their own life.
Education doesn’t just transform the lives of children either: girls who have the chance to finish school are more likely to support themselves, feed and nurture their children, pass on their knowledge and contribute to society and their country’s economy. It not only helps them, but it helps their family, their community and their country.
That’s why work with more than 100 schools across Africa, helping over 250 girls and boys to get the free, quality education they are entitled to and gain the knowledge and skills they need to choose what they want in life and build a happier, safer future.
